Monongalia County Schools is proud to celebrate the outstanding achievements of our students at the Region 7 Math Field Day, held on Saturday, March 21.
Many Monongalia County students earned top honors and will advance to the state competition, which will be held at West Virginia Wesleyan College on April 18. A complete list of winners by grade level is included alongside this article.
Among the many impressive performances, two students achieved a remarkable milestone by earning perfect scores across all individual events. Congratulations to fourth grader Toby Nguyen of Mylan Park Elementary and Morgantown High School senior Sanketh Guppi for this extraordinary accomplishment.
We are incredibly proud of all students who participated in this year’s event. Each competitor represented Monongalia County with excellence, demonstrating not only strong academic ability but also outstanding sportsmanship.
