Due to frigid temperatures and icy road conditions, all Monongalia County Schools are now closed today, Thursday, December 5, 2024.
All Monongalia County Schools will operate on a 2-hour delay on Thursday, December 5th due to expected winter weather conditions.
The UHS MedEd program is accepting applications for the 2025-2026 school year! The MedEd program, part of the CAREERS Initiative, is a partnership between WVU Medicine, Monongalia County Schools, and the Education Alliance. It's FREE and open exclusively to rising Juniors. Take two take courses at your home high school during your Junior and Senior years. Plus, get invaluable hands-on experience through a PAID internship at WVU Medicine during the second semester of your Senior year. #GetCAREERS #MedEd
