2021-2022 Scheduling Information
All students will receive scheduling information to begin the registration process for the 21-22 school year during the week of April 5th. 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will receive information during their social studies class on April 5th or April 6th. On April 6th we will hold a virtual Q & A night for parents and students at 6pm. The link to participate is below under Scheduling Timeline.
On April 8th and 9th our counselors will be available for phone meetings to answer any individual questions from parents and students. You can sign up for an appointment time for one of these individual sessions at www.myconferencetime.com/universityhigh .
This year our county has purchased a new scheduling program and all students will have access to a scheduling portal to sign up for their classes for next year. Students will receive their login information during their sessions in Social Studies class. All students will be required to submit their course requests for next year by April 12th.
Students interested in WVU Access for the summer or fall should visit wvu.edu to apply. See Mr. Steele in the Counseling Center to turn in your enrollment authorization form or with any questions.
If you have questions that have not been answered during the class scheduling meetings, the Q&A Night, or are unable to participate in the individual conference offerings you may submit a question in the Scheduling 2021-2022 Questions form. We will respond as quickly as possible. Please allow time to process as there may be questions that need to be resourced out to another staff member.

2021-2022 Scheduling Timeline:
Mon, 3/29 - Thursday, 4/1 -
- 9th, 10th, and 11th graders complete PEPs in Advisory and discuss recommendations with current teachers
- Counselors enter recommendations into system
- Google Meets for teachers who have questions about graduation requirements, PEPs, etc.
Mon, 4/5 & Tues, 4/6 - Principals meet with students through Social Studies classes to present scheduling information
Mon, 4/5 - UHS counselors to Westwood MS for classroom presentations
Tues, 4/6 - UHS counselors to Mountaineer MS for classroom presentations
Virtual Q&A Night at 6 p.m.
Wed, 4/7 - Virtual presentations with St. Francis students (11:50 and 1:10)
Thurs, 4/8-Fri, 4/9 - Individual student/parent phone conferences available with UHS counselors. You can sign up for an appointment time for one of these individual sessions at www.myconferencetime.com/universityhigh .
Monday, 4/12 - ALL students' forms should be submitted by students on Plus Portals.

Students interested in attending MTEC during the 2021-2022 School year are asked to visit their RECRUITING PAGE. The page includes a step by step of the application process with Virtual Tour, Virtual Program Meetings, and an Application.
Students if you are interested in taking Agriculture Mechanics, Greenhouse, Civil Engineering and Architecture (CEA), or Engineering Design and Development (EDD) next school year, please complete the 2022 Simulated Workplace Application. To be enrolled in one of the courses above you will need to apply and interview. The application will be available until February 9th. We will begin interviews on February 12 and use Fridays to complete this process. At the end of the application you will be prompted to click on a link to schedule an interview time. If you miss the link, you will receive a copy of your application in a confirmation email, the link will be included in the copy.
